1. Instruction & Guideline for Online Application

1.1 Affliation

The course is affiliated to the Ranchi University and is recognised by the NCTE Regional Centre, Bhubaneswar. Since the College is Autonomous, it will conduct its own examinations and the Ranchi University will confer the degree.

1.2 Duration and Intake

The B.Ed. course shall be of two years duration. Only 100 students will be admitted.

1.3 Eligibility

  1. Candidates who have passed graduation or post-graduation exam may apply to the College with at least two school subjects at the graduation level.
  2. As per NCTE norms, a candidate should have secured at least 50% marks in the Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree examination of a recognized University.
  3. Since this is a minority Institution, 50% of the selected candidates will be from minority communities. The selection will be made on Merit.
  4. The selection of the candidates for admission into courses will be done on the basis of an Entrance Test in the subject in which the applicant is seeking admission. A student may apply for more than one subject method.

1.4 Selection of Students will also be made on faculty basis as follow:

  1. Languages: (Hindi & English) – 13+13=26
  2. History, Civics, Geography – 10+10+10=30
  3. Economics – 2
  4. Commerce – 2
  5. Physical and Life Science - 15+15=30
  6. Maths – 10

1.5 Admission Procedure:

  1. Application can be submitted ONLINE only.
  2. There will be an Entrance Test covering follwing topics:

PART - A

  1. General English Comprehension – 10 Marks
  2. Logical & Analytical Reasoning – 20 Marks
  3. Educational & General Awareness – 25 Marks
  4. Teaching – Learning & School – 25 Marks

PART - B Subject COmpetence

  1. Science
  2. Maths
  3. Social Studies
  4. English
  5. Hindi

Subject matter for Subject Competence will be from Classes X NCERT/ CBSE syllabus.

1.6 General Instruction

Candidates keep following documents with self before filling online application:

  1. Paid copy of cash voucher.
  2. Marks Sheet of all qualification up to date.

  1. Application can be submitted ONLINE only

PART - A

  1. In the Applicant Payment Details form you have to provide following inputs from your paid cash voucher.
    1. Bank transaction No.
    2. Date of payment.
  2. After successfully verification you redirected to B.Ed application form. Where you have to provide following information as given below:
    1. Applicant Details: - In this section * marked are mandatory field, you must input correct information in these fields. Candidates must provide their correct Mobile No. and Email ID. If your category is other than OBC no need to select sub-category.
    2. Applicant Parents/Guardian Details: - Parents details sections are not mandatory, but candidates have to fill these sections with correct information.
    3. Address: Applicant permanent address is mandatory, candidates must fill correct address. If your permanent and correspondence address are same no need to type again, just click on check box given in upper side.
    4. Add academic details:- This is mandatory, candidates must add their academic details in sequential order from lower to higher qualification. Start from 10th/Board/Matric. All fields are mandatory in this section. If you have passed from CBSE board, no need to provide percentage of marks. After filling all fields click on Add Academic button, this will insert your academic records in the form and appear on the screen, for adding other academic details repeat the same process.     5. Teaching Experience: Teaching experience is not mandatory. If candidates have any teaching experience they can provide correct information.
    6. Method Subject: Choosing method subject is mandatory; candidates must choose any one combination.
    7. Other Details: "Other Details" fields are optional. If a candidate fulfils this criteria he or she must provide correct information.

1.8 Check before submission of online Application Form

  1. Candidate must provide correct information.
  2. Applicant Name, Father’s Name, DOB as same as in 10th /board certificate.
  3. Provide Date of birth in (dd/MM/yyyy) format.
  4. Enter correct grade or percentage of marks.
  5. Enter correct passing year.
  6. Check your inputs before submission.
  7. Declaration Check box must be selected before final submission of form.

1.9 Print Out

After successfully submission of form you will be able to take print out of Admit Card, Acknowledgement Card and Filled Application Form. Candidate must take print out of these documents. Without hard copy of Admit-Card candidate will not be permitted to appear in test examination. Also note down your Form-Application No. for further reference.
